EPW - Lepine a Paris, skeletonized verge fusee, 40mm, 18K rose gold (tested), silver and diamond-set OF display case, white enamel dial with winding aperture at 2, white metal hands with diamond-set hour, KWKS (two keys are included as pictured), verge escapement, gilt mvt with beautiful pierced and diamond-set mask above balance cock and around perimeter of mvt, no visible s#. Gross weight of assembled watch 32.8 dwt (51.2 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: NR, fully wound, balance not moving freely, fractures and soldered past repair evident to table of balance cock, overhaul needed, excellent-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, good gilt and silver tone, some fine scratches, balance wheel with some mild oxide spots and few areas of fine scratch striations; dial with surface chipping around winding area, small perimeter hls at 2:30 and 9:30, few small surface nicks; excellent hands, hour with diamonds present, minute with faceted white metal instead of diamonds and with the majority of these missing; case shows little wear, no dents or dings, excellent engraving detail, front bezel missing two diamonds, rear bezel missing four diamonds; bow pivots semi-freely; domed glass bull's-eye crystals, front with small internal edge chip at lower-left, rear with large internal edge chip at lower-right.
